Two of the most well made animated shows of the 2000's and 2010's. The hate for the latter show is unjustified like the hatred for the new Star Wars films. In order to say that one is better than the other one is blasphemy. I advise everyone to watch the series from The Boy in the Iceberg to The Last Stand to really get the overall momentous emotional overtone that is the Avatar universe. Only watch M. Night Shyamalan's 2010 The Last Airbender as a case study for poor film-making and to see what ideas made it into the latter series.
