Since 1980, I have been a massive fan of Swedish rock musician Tomas Ledin. Now 65 and still performing and recording, Tomas has embraced a number of styles from rock to bluegrass. He began as a Dylanesque folk singer then embraced rock and has been called Sweden's answer to Bruce Springsteen. Here is an example of his work:

It sounds like a very pop mixed with country style of music. Although I'm not always a fan of country music, this is pretty good and he is definitely very talented! |

He had his first hit at the age of 20 in 1972, Devon. He plays guitar, piano, harmonica and clarinet. The clarinet he learned in the school orchestra and also took piano lessons from a young age. His father also plays guitar and piano and is a retired headmaster now in his early 90s. His mother is also still alive.

His father also plays guitar and piano and is a retired headmaster now in his early 90s. His mother is also still alive. 1972, wow! That's roughly 45 years (more or less)!  I've always wanted to learn acoustic guitar and maybe piano and keyboard in the future but that's a different topic. I could never imagine being able to play guitar, piano, harmonica and clarinet! That must take a lot of talent! |

He is also a musicologist (has a degree in it) and a qualified Qigong teacher.
